Eurostar Tips - Disneyland attractions

These are our absolute favourites. If you'd like to share your Disneyland® Paris attractions tips with us, just click on "Submit top tip".

  1. Out of this world: Fantasyland

See the crooked houses, wonky chimneys, giant beanstalks and animal-shaped bushes of Fantasyland. Young children can fly above London on Peter Pan's Flight and sing with the dolls at It's a Small World. Don't forget the spiral staircase to the top of Sleeping Beauty's pale pink castle. A fire-breathing dragon lurks below, which is scarily realistic.

  2. Pirates & treasure: Adventureland

Caribbean islands with white sands and shady palms, pirate-ridden seas and dripstone caves enchant in Adventureland. Wander through a glittering Arabian bazaar. There's a rope bridge leading to Adventure Isle, home to waterfalls and a network of caves at Skull Rock, along with Captain Hook's Pirate Ship on a murky green lagoon. Nearby is the shipwrecked Swiss Family Robinson's Treehouse; climb 176 steps to the top.

  3. Cowboys & Indians: Frontierland
The spooky Phantom Manor. © Disney

Yee-hah! Gun-toting cowboys, gold-rush fever and Indian villages bring the Wild West back to life in Frontierland. Queue up for a runaway train ride around the canyons and lakes of Big Thunder Mountain or disturb the ghouls and ghosts of crumbling Phantom Manor – if you dare! The Mississippi Cruise takes you by paddle steamer past bubbling geysers. Children can meet and greet the characters at Woody's Round-up or burn off excess energy in the Pocahontas Indian Village.

  4. Lost in Space: Discoveryland

A futuristic world of space ventures and sci-fi at Discoveryland rotates budding astronauts 360° on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. Belt up and test your driving skills at Autopia, a high-speed car track, and admire the secrets of the sea by submarine at Les Mystères du Nautilus. Put on your 3D glasses for Honey I Shrunk the Audience, for a full-on shrinking experience, or find out the meaning of Hakuna Matata at The Legend of the Lion King (until 6 Jan).

  5. Movie Magic: Walt Disney Studios® Park
Dare you ride the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror® at Disneyland® Paris? ©Disney/CBS, Inc

See film animation brought to life at Walt Disney Studios®. Make your Tinsel Town debut at Disney Studio 1 and take the Studio Tram Tour® to a behind-the-scenes blockbuster. Find Nemo and dive deep down to the coral reefs of Crush's Coaster then head up, up and away to Stitch Live! for an out-of-this-world meet-and-greet. The Stunt Show Spectacular is chock-full of high-speed jumps, bravado and bumps. But only the truly brave dare drop in on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™®.

Your Tips - Disneyland attractions

These are your insider tips. If you'd like to share your Disneyland® Paris attractions tips with us, just click on "Submit top tip".

  1. Fast track

We paid a bit extra for a Fastpass when we were buying our Disney tickets and got fast-tracked into some of the big rides like Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain. The park was busy when we went so the pass didn't stop us having to queue altogether but it cut the waiting time down loads. Joss and Col Adams, West Wilts

  2. Fair weather or not

We all trooped off to Disney one rainy weekend in April. We spent a lot of time in Walt Disney Studios® Park, as most of the attractions there are under cover. But the whole of Disney is a great place to go, no matter what the weather. Rachel Keith, Highbury

  3. Aquarium Sea Life Paris

We found the aquarium to be a mini-version of Seaworld in Orlando – it's part conservation and education and part pure fun! Our kids got to touch the rays in the touching pool, go on a journey to Atlantis and see some very big jaws at the Shark Academy. The aquarium is in Val d'Europe - we got a shuttle service directly from the hotel, which also goes to the shopping village. Claire, Dublin

  4. La Vallée Village: shopping

If you're an insatiable shopaholic like me, combine your trip to Disneyland Paris with a visit to the designer outlet village of La Vallée Village. There are 80 discount stores like Agnès B, Christian Lacroix and Versace. Located in Val d'Europe, the mall is near the aquarium, which my kids loved! They went there while I was shopping! Harinder Singh, Slough
